Risk assessment

Risk mapping with inherent risk, controls, and residual risk

For each applicable offence, AERA calculates inherent risk (probability × impact), maps existing controls and protocols, and derives residual risk. The risk assessment feeds directly into the ERM heatmap. Sensitive activities (attività sensibili) are linked to specific organizational roles, departments, and processes — creating a traceable chain from offence to protocol to responsible person.

  • Inherent risk: probability (1-5) × impact (1-5) per offence
  • Control mapping: existing protocols, procedures, authorizations
  • Residual risk calculation after control effectiveness assessment
  • Cross-module link to ERM heatmap for integrated risk view
