Our philosophy
Most enterprise software vendors treat AI as a feature to bolt onto legacy systems. We took the opposite route. The ARIA Platform was designed from the ground up with AI as the primary producer of code, configuration, and content. That same principle extends beyond our product: it shapes how we write, how we build, and how we communicate.
A century of experience, in three people
Quantum8 is a small team with deep enterprise roots. Together, our founders carry roughly a century of combined experience in ERP, finance, compliance, and software architecture. The scale of what we ship is only possible because we pair that experience with AI as a force multiplier — not as a shortcut around judgment, but as an accelerator for the work we already know how to do.
We believe this is the future of enterprise software, and we're transparent about it. You'll see the full story on our upcoming "About us" page.
Where we use AI
Here's a clear breakdown of where AI is involved in our work today, and what's planned:
Product generation
LiveThe ARIA Platform generates full-stack enterprise modules (database, APIs, React frontend, business logic) from YAML configuration files. AI is the primary producer of the generated code and templates. Every module you see demoed on this website was built this way.
Virtual Consultant (in-app AI)
LiveThe ARIA Intelligence layer embeds an AI-powered Virtual Consultant into every screen of the platform. It provides contextual help, knowledge base search, and guided journeys. Users always know they're talking to an AI: it's clearly branded as "Virtual Consultant" and presented as an assistant, not a person.
Email responses
PlannedWe're evaluating an AI assistant to handle initial responses to inquiries sent to info@quantum8.biz. When we roll this out, the first automated reply will clearly state that the initial response is AI-generated and that a human will take over for anything substantive. You will always be able to ask to speak with a person.
Website and marketing content
LiveMost text, layout, and visual mockups on this website were drafted with AI assistance and then reviewed, refined, and approved by our team. Code snippets, documentation, and technical diagrams are produced the same way.
Internal operations
LiveAI assists us in writing code, drafting documents, analyzing data, and preparing customer materials. The final judgment, the final decision, and the final signature stay with the humans in the team.
Our principles
Using AI at the core of the business means taking AI ethics seriously. These are the principles we follow:
Transparency
Whenever you interact with an AI from Quantum8, you will know. No hidden bots, no disguised assistants.
Human oversight
AI drafts, humans decide. Every material decision, every commitment to a client, and every line of production code passes through a human review.
Data minimization
We don't train models on our customers' data. AI systems we use are chosen for their privacy and compliance posture.
Escalation path
You can always ask to speak with a human. Always. There's no maze of chatbots between you and us.
Regulatory alignment
We operate in Italy and serve European clients, so we follow two main regulatory frameworks for AI:
EU AI Act — Regulation (EU) 2024/1689
The EU Artificial Intelligence Act entered into force on 1 August 2024. Its transparency obligations under Article 50 apply from 2 August 2026: users must be informed when they interact with an AI system.
Quantum8 is implementing these transparency requirements proactively, ahead of the statutory deadline. Our Virtual Consultant, our planned email assistant, and any future AI-facing interaction will clearly identify themselves as AI.
Italian Law 23 September 2025, No. 132
Italy was one of the first EU member states to adopt a national AI law. Law 132/2025 entered into force on 10 October 2025, published in Official Gazette No. 223 of 25 September 2025. It adopts an anthropocentric approach to AI — human in the loop, human dignity, non-discrimination — and complements the EU AI Act.
The articles most relevant to Quantum8 are:
- Article 4 — lawful, fair, transparent data processing with clear and simple language.
- Article 11 — AI in the workplace. Employers using AI systems must inform workers in advance about the use of such systems.
- Article 13 — AI in intellectual and professional services. AI must be used strictly as a support tool; human professional judgment must prevail. Clients must be informed clearly, simply, and exhaustively about the use of AI in the service being provided.
The designated national authorities are AgID (Agency for Digital Italy) and ACN (National Cybersecurity Agency).
What this means for you
If you are considering ARIA for your organization, here's what you can count on:
- Before engagement: this page, plus our Privacy Policy and Terms of Use, describe our use of AI. No surprises.
- During evaluation: demos and mockups you see are generated by our AI-first toolchain. We're happy to explain exactly how, and what level of human review went into each piece.
- In production: any AI-facing component (Virtual Consultant, automated responses, generative features) will clearly identify itself as AI and allow escalation to a human.
- In contracts: our commercial agreements will include explicit AI transparency and data processing clauses aligned with GDPR, the EU AI Act, and Italian Law 132/2025.
Questions?
If you have questions about how we use AI, what data we process, or how this aligns with your own compliance requirements, we'd like to hear from you. Write to us at info@quantum8.biz and a human — for now — will reply.
This page will be updated as our AI practices evolve, as new regulations enter into force, and as Italian Law 132/2025 is supplemented by implementing decrees.
