ARIA Platform / ARIA Intelligence
AI-based Comprehension & Insight

Help that understands the screen you're on.

ARIA Intelligence is the comprehension and insight layer built into every module of the platform. The Virtual Consultant is its first tile — a contextual assistant that knows what page you're looking at, answers questions from a curated knowledge base in under 50 milliseconds, walks you through guided journeys, and turns every user observation into structured feedback. No tickets. No searching wikis. No leaving the app.

Three columns. One surface. Always on.
The Virtual Consultant panel docks at the bottom of every screen and can be resized vertically by dragging. When closed, a floating indigo button brings it back with one click. Three columns, three purposes, zero context switches.
COLUMN 1 — CONTEXT

Help that knows which screen you're on.

The Context column reads the current page at render time and shows the title, description, and key points that apply right now. No more hunting through a generic help center to find the section about the screen you're looking at. The panel understands the screen because the screen declared what it is.

  • Page-aware title and description updated on every navigation
  • Bulleted key points (3–5 per page) that surface the non-obvious
  • FAQ accordion organized by topic, filtered to the current page
  • Collapses to a thin strip to reclaim workspace when not needed

KEY POINTS Drivers drive the whole forecast chain TCPI > 1 signals tight execution required Always save snapshots for audit trail FAQ · 6 QUESTIONS ▾ Why is my TCPI above 1? ▸ How do I create a baseline? ▸ What changes between scenarios?
COLUMN 2 — KNOWLEDGE BASE & JOURNEY

Fuzzy search that answers in 50 milliseconds.

The middle column runs a local fuzzy search (powered by Fuse.js) across an 85+ entry curated knowledge base per module. Typing cos'è il TCPI? matches the relevant entry with a 92% score and displays the answer instantly — no API call, no token cost, no latency. Below the search, the Guided Journey plays out the module's learning paths step by step.

  • Fuse.js fuzzy matching — handles typos, paraphrases, and Italian/English seamlessly
  • 85+ curated Q&A entries per module with variants, tags, and page anchors
  • Local-first: 80%+ of questions answered with zero API cost
  • AI fallback to Claude for complex contextual questions (Premium tier)
  • Guided journeys: 43 steps across 4 learning paths in Project P&L alone
🔍 cos'è il TCPI? 92% ppl-066 · LOCAL MATCH · <50ms To-Complete Performance Index (TCPI) The TCPI measures the efficiency required on the remaining work to hit the EAC target. A TCPI above 1.0 means tighter execution is needed going forward. GUIDED JOURNEY · MONTHLY CYCLE Step 8 of 15 — Review forecast drivers Before closing the period, review the driver values that changed since last month's snapshot. 53% complete Got it → ⟵ Prev step Skip without marking complete
COLUMN 3 — WISHLIST & FEEDBACK

Every observation becomes a structured signal.

The right column turns the oldest enterprise-software problem — "where do I send feedback?" — into a first-class workflow. Users classify items as Feature, Bug, UX, or Data, and each one is automatically tagged with the current module and page position. When they hit Invia, a review dialog confirms the full list before an email leaves with everything formatted and ready to triage.

  • Four categories with semantic colors: Feature (blue), Bug (red), UX (purple), Data (amber)
  • Auto-position tagging: every item carries its module and page context
  • Persistent per module in localStorage — users pick up where they left off
  • Review dialog before send — no accidental submissions
  • Email pipeline today, AWS SES integration on the roadmap

What makes it actually useful.
Every pillar is measurable, already shipped in the SOX/262 reference module, and re-used across every other module via the same configuration grammar.
PILLAR 04 — VOICE INPUT

Ask with your voice. Free. Native.

Voice input is powered by the browser's native Web Speech API — that means Chrome, Edge, and Safari handle the speech-to-text locally with zero external APIs and zero cost. A microphone button sits in the Virtual Consultant header bar: tap it, speak your question in Italian or English, watch the transcript appear in real time, and see the knowledge base match the moment you stop talking.

  • Browser-native Web Speech API — no cloud speech service, no token cost
  • Italian default (it-IT), configurable per user
  • Visual feedback: pulsing microphone and interim transcript preview
  • Automatic handoff to KB search when the user stops speaking

ARIA Intelligence is a layer, not a feature.
The Virtual Consultant is the first tile. Over the next releases, ARIA Intelligence grows into a full comprehension and insight environment — passive help becomes active teaching, and active teaching becomes proactive insight that reaches out before the user asks.

Virtual Consultant

Contextual help, fuzzy knowledge base, guided journeys, voice input, and structured feedback. Reference implementation live in SOX/262, rolling out across all modules. The user asks, the panel answers.

Virtual Teacher

Interactive lessons with validation and branching. The panel doesn't just explain — it watches the user perform the task and gives corrective feedback in real time. Deep 5-15 minute lessons replace static documentation entirely.

Insight Engine

The panel turns proactive. It watches what's on the screen, spots anomalies, and volunteers observations the user didn't know to ask for. "Your Q4 forecast just crossed the TCPI > 1.1 threshold — want to see what's driving it?" This is where comprehension becomes insight.
